Info about forged weapon

Post by khuongduy004 on 5/7/2013, 18:08

I noticed that the forging guide was lost when the old forum went down, so since I managed to find another version of that guide somewhere else, I will repost it here. Not like anyone still cares, but I will just do this anyway lol.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FORGING

Success chance
You need a smith to start forging, and the success chance is as follow:

%success = SkillLV + JobLvl*0,2 + Dex*0,1 + Luk*0,1 + 50

So, at max lvl of 150/140, you will have more than 100% success chance with decent dex/luk. However, that's not counting some other modifiers (such as weapon type and ingredients) below:

1.Each star crumb reduces success rate by 15%
2.Elemental ore (flame heart, great nature, mystic frozen, rough wind) reduces success rate by 20%
3.Forging a lvl 2 weapon will reduce success rate by 20%
4.Forging a lvl 3 weapon will reduce success rate by 30%
5.The type of anvil used can INCREASE success rate by 5-10%

Special properties of forged weapon
I will assume that you already know the basic materials required to forge each weapon. In case you don't, please follow [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to find out.

1.Star crumb
The most important ingredient in forging. Each star crumb will give your weapon 1 "very" prefix. The more "very" prefixes you have, the stronger your weapon will be. Each "very" (or each star crumb) gives +25% WAtk

For example a forged weapon with the name "very very very strong" will have 75% more WAtk compared to its normal, non-forged counterpart.

2.Flame Heart
Used to forge fire weapons, a weapon forged with flame heart will have the following properties:

- Gives +15% atk
- Gives +25% matk
- Gives +5% HIT

3.Great Nature
Used to forge earth weapons, a weapon forged with great nature will have the following properties:

- Gives +10 def/mdef
- Gives +10% def2/mdef2
- Gives 20% fire,earth,wind,water resistance.
- Makes all equipment indestructible

4.Mystic frozen
Used to forge water weapons, a weapon forged with mystic frozen will have the following properties:

- Recovers 1000 HP and 10 SP for each enemy killed, the recovery is increased with enemy's lvl (similarly to earth/sky deleter card)
- Gives +25% hp/sp recovery
- Gives +10% max hp/sp
- Increases healing by 20%
- Converts 40% more WAtk -> MAtk

5.Rough Wind
Used to forge wind weapons, a weapon forged with rough wind will have the following properties:

- Gives +20% crit dmg
- Gives +15% ASPD
- Gives +15% movement speed
- Reduces skill's cast time and delay by 20%
- Gives +10% FLEE

Final notes:
- All forged weapons will give +20% resistance against that respective element, but will reduce the resistance of the element it is weak against by 15% (for example a water forged will add 20% water resistance, but will reduce wind resistance by 15%)
- All forged weapons come with a hidden slot. This slot is NOT shown by the client, but you can socket cards in it and receive the card's effects as usual. In order to check which card is slotted in your weapon, use "@info equip yes" or check with the card remover.

- All forged weapons are indestructible.
