Item Incinerator NPC Needed

Piece of Report and Clothing Dye Coupon II are forever stuck in my inventory, because they cannot be dropped, traded or stored. I tried both regular and guild storage. Since I don't want to bother the GM for every item, an Incinerator NPC should be available in St. Capitolina.

Server Issues

When is he responding? It's been days already and I still have this crud in my inventory. Other issues: Rune Strawberry Cake doesn't work. Plus, why are town invasion MVPs summoning each other and why are Treasure Guardians spawning clusters of map related mobs every ten seconds?

You shouldn't be too surprised when the admin doesn't respond. Frankly, it's a little surprising anybody responded. It could be weeks before Skotlex cares enough to see this post, much less fixes the issues.

I'd like to add that to prevent the future possibility of users claiming that they "incinerated [godlike rare item]", the incinerator should only search for items that cannot be traded, dropped and stored. If I could store the stuff, it would be no problem to me really.

 Does not, but it's one of those refined gears which you can't upgrade. Some at least

Weird, I somehow missed this thread when it first came out.

How did you get those locked items, though? Items that cannot be dropped/sold should not drop from random drops, so that should prevent you from acquiring said items, except when you actually should get them from a quest. The long term solution is to avoid such items from being acquired in the first place.

But I can manually delete them for now.

"why are town invasion MVPs summoning each other?"
"why are Treasure Guardians spawning clusters of map related mobs every ten seconds?"


These two must be related to the skill I gave all boss monsters to be able to summon normal monsters from the same map.

But.... that should only be cloning "enemies" of whoever used the skill, and the recharge rate is 600k ms, 10 minutes :S

Something is not right there, of course. If a monster uses that skill, it shouldn't clone OTHER monsters, unless they can hit each other. And that recharge time of 10 seconds is not right neither.

Is this happening like, all the time, or only sometimes? I totally need RO running on my machine to even try to fix these things >_<

Also for some reason when you get a new item, you have to go to a warp point to "refresh" your inventory else it won't show up.

What? You get a new item, and it displays as an apple instead of a normal item in your inventory? That sounds like a bug with the "got item" packet.

But... that shouldn't have broken just like that O_o; Many of these things were working before, how did they just broke....

Hmm.... Lothar, which is the character name that is full of these "apples"? I will have to run a check against the database to see what items they are supposed to be, and perhaps figure out where they are coming from.

All the apples with 0 as their value are empty inventory slots. It is most likely a cosmetic error.

All the empty slots, on all characters, are now replaced with "apples". As Soba said, their displayed quantity is "0" and have 0 weight. But when you get some new items, the items will not be displayed automatically in inventory (due to the apples), and you have to change map / teleport to "refresh" the inventory and make the items to show up. So I guess this is more like a displaying issue than an item bug

Hmm, I see...that's an entirely strange error, though! Because the packets for the client should not have just suddenly changed.

Could it be some sort of error in the map-server that manifests some time after being running? That would explain why it was "fixed" for some time, most likely because of a server restart. This could be difficult to debug, as with all memory-corruption related errors :S
